So just stop in the name of love
And just say yes
(Eh eh eh eh) say yes
Say yay yay yay yes
(Eh eh eh eh) whoa
Can you feel my heart (eh eh eh eh)
Can you read my mind (eh eh eh eh)
망설이지 말고 just say yes
Oh baby give it to me right now
Can you feel my heart (eh eh eh eh)
Can you read my mind (eh eh eh eh)
망설이지 말고 just say yes
Baby I'll be waiting
Baby say yeah yeah (eh eh eh eh)
Can you feel my heart (eh eh eh eh)
Can you read my mind (eh eh eh eh)
망설이지 말고 just say yeah yeah yeah
망설이지 말고 just (just)
망설이지 말고 just (just)
망설이지 말고 just say yes
The lyrics of the song Say Yes by Girls' Generation (소녀시대) express a girl's longing for a boy she sees every day. The song displays the idea of taking risks and not being afraid to express one's feelings. The opening lines, "Boy, I see you walking by every day, so just stop in the name of love" demonstrate the singer's desire for the boy to take notice of her.
As the song progresses, she speaks of the difficulties of her confession, "In my worried heart, I didn't mention anything because I feared nothing is enough, or because I was scared it would hurt my heart." However, she remains confident and pushes for him to say "yes" and give her a chance.
Overall, Say Yes communicates the idea of risking rejection to express one's feelings and the importance of taking that chance to achieve a happy ending.
