Mi alegría nerviosa, mi llanto feliz, mis prosas y mis versos
The lyrics to Ana Belen's song Regresamelo todo are an earnest plea for the return of all of the things that the singer gave to her lover. She expresses her emotional pain and her desire to have everything back in her life. She emphasizes her longing by mentioning various objects and experiences that are associated with their relationship, such as the kiss she gave him behind the sofa, her Peter Pan who was left without Wendy, her nervous happiness, her most tender mornings of lovemaking, and her fear of ghosts. She pleads for the return of her books of stories, her blue crucifix, her woolen doll, and her erotic apple, among other things. Her lover has taken everything away from her, and she is dying inside without them.
The lyrics also express the singer’s hope that her lover will return to her along with the things she is asking for. She mentions that if it is not too much to ask, she would like him to return with those things, especially with his dense orgasms. Through these lyrics, the singer conveys the pain of separation from a loved one and the yearning for the return of all that was lost.
