The lyrics of Asha Bhosle's song Nakore Bolus Majhyasi describe a woman pleading with her lover not to reveal their relationship to anyone. She fears that if their love is exposed, they will face criticism and judgment from society. The woman is portrayed as a proud and independent individual, who wants to keep her love life private and away from the eyes of the judgmental society.
In the first stanza, the woman urges her lover not to reveal their love to anyone, and to keep it between themselves. She emphasizes the importance of "preet" or love, but cautions against the dangers of making it public. In the second stanza, the woman compares herself to the moon and asks her lover to be discreet like the moon, which shines brightly but does not reveal its inner feelings.
The third stanza describes the woman's playful nature, and how she loves to dance and enjoy life. She asks her lover to join her in her endeavors, but still urges him to keep their love a secret. The fourth stanza describes how the woman sees herself and her lover as part of a divine love story, but she still wants to keep their love private and away from others.
Overall, the song Nakore Bolus Majhyasi is a poignant portrayal of the struggles of love in a society that often frowns upon it. The woman in the song is characterized as a strong and independent individual who refuses to bow down to societal pressures and instead chooses to follow her heart.
