If everybody is counted in, the band has close to 20 members, but the group can be broken into smaller entities if necessary.

Baggalútur also runs a website by the same name that focuses on humorous, made-up news, and in the summer of 2004 they had a radio show on Icelandic National Radio, which had content in much the same vein.
