Qualia
Ceui Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
The song Qualia by Ceui is a melancholic ballad about a person who is unable to find the essence of their emotions, symbolized by the term "Qualia." The opening lines, "Why are tears flowing now, with wings still wounded, unable to find the Qualia" paints a picture of someone who is trying to come to terms with their feelings but is still in the process of healing from some kind of hurt.
The song also has themes of longing and nostalgia, with the singer reminiscing about a past love. The lines "Hey, can I return from here, calling only you who scattered in the grasslands of my eyelids" express a desire to go back in time and be reunited with their lost love.
The chorus continues the theme of flight and reaching for something intangible. The lines "Flying far into the distance, touching faster than the speed of light, ending the sadness with your transparent fingers" evokes a sense of yearning for something beyond reach.
The song is a beautiful portrayal of complex emotions and intense longing. Its poetic lyrics combined with Ceui's hauntingly beautiful vocals create a powerful and moving experience for the listener.
