In 1997, Peralta recorded his first album, Pa' Otro La'o, released in Latin America and the U.S., which won him the Lo Nuestro Award. In the year 2000, Chichi Peralta teamed up with César Olarte and René Geraldino, issuing the CD, De Vuelta Al Barrio, which was followed by a worldwide tour.

carlos enrique el genio es Jandy Feliz que tiene una vocalización perfecta, sus pausas, sus entonaciones y agudos.. un excelente músico y genial las letras de sus canciones tan bien articuladas y pronunciadas como solo un cantautor sabe hacerlo. La orquesta de Chichi muy buena, juntos hubieran hecho muchos más éxitos pero la envidia es un pecado capital..
