The band eventually broke up in 1996 and Bunbury started his solo career in 1997 with a techno album, Radical Sonora with his new band: Copi (piano), del Moran (bass), Ramón Gacias (drums) and former Héroes del Silencio guitarrist Alan Boguslavsky.
Recognized by his wish to always reinvent himself, Bunbury released in 1999 the album Pequeño, which sounded much different than anything he did before. His band also suffered changes, Boguslavsky was replaced by Rafa Domínguez, and the new faces, Ana Belén Estaje (violin), Luis Miguel Romero (percussion), Javier Iñigo, Javier García Vega & Antonio Ríos in the metal instruments.
This band was known as the "Huracán Ambulante" ("Rambling Hurricane") and recorded with Bunbury the rest of his solo discography, (except Antonio Ríos).
In 2005, after 8 years together, Bunbury dissolved the band and declared that will record a new album in 2006 only with his voice and a piano. Nevertheless, in early 2006 he recorded an album with spanish artist Nacho Vegas by the name of El tiempo de las cerezas.
His old band, Héroes del Silencio, reunited in 2007 for a short tour which visited Latin America, United States and Spain.

He come groovin' up slowly
He got joo joo eyeballs
He one holy rollers
He got hair down to his knee
Got to be a joker
He just do what he please
He got toe jam football
He got monkey finger
He shoot Coca Cola
He say I know you, you know me
One thing I can tell you is
You got to be free
Come together, right now
Over me
He bad production
He got walrus gumboot
He got Ono sideboard
He one spinal cracker
He got feet down below his knees
Hold you in his armchair
You can feel his disease
Come together, right now
Over me
He roller coaster
He got early warning
He got muddy water
He one Mojo filter
He say one and one and one is three
Got to be good looking
Cause he's so hard to see
Come together right now
Over me
Come together, yeah
Come together, yeah
Come together, yeah
Come together, yeah
Come together, yeah
Come together, yeah
Come together, yeah
Come together, yeah
Come together, yeah
The song "Come Together" by Enrique Bunbury is a cover of the classic Beatles tune, and it is a song that provokes reflection about the world today. The opening verse describes a mysterious figure who is arriving on the scene with a cool, relaxed, and laid-back demeanor. This person is an enigma, with joo joo eyeballs, hair down to his knees, and a love of Coca-Cola. He is a joker who just does what he pleases, and he wears no shoeshine. The implication that he doesn't have to polish his shoes is a symbol of his freedom from the constraints of society.
The following verses continue to describe this person, connecting him to various cultural and societal symbols of the time. The walrus gumboot and the Ono sideboard are references to members of The Beatles' entourage, and the muddy water and Mojo filter are the symbols of the blues tradition. The lyrics keep coming back to the refrain of "Come Together, right now, over me," which could be interpreted as a call to unify and connect as human beings, regardless of our differences.
Overall, "Come Together" is a song that celebrates freedom, individuality, and unity. It is a testament to the power of music to bring people together and to inspire us to build a better world.
