In 2005, Estopa signed a global music publishing deal with BMG Music Publishing.
The name of the group, "Estopa" (tow, in english) refers to when both brothers worked together at a SEAT automobile factory and, in their own words, a boss kept on screaming at them, "¡Dale estopa!" which means something like "Work hard!".

y lo primero es lo primero
si todos quieren juzgarme
yo aquí estoy en alma y cuerpo.
No puedo seguir callándome
y podemos cantar distinto.
Controlar nuestro destino
saber las limitaciones
mejorar como el buen vino
y no pegar acelerones.
y podemos cantar distinto.

The lyrics of Estopa's song "Rumba Sin Nombre" can be interpreted as a message of empowerment and self-acceptance. The singer is tired of deceiving themselves and acknowledges that they cannot keep hiding their true self. They may be judged by others, but they declare they are there in body and soul. The chorus of the song invites the listener to let go of their worries, as the rumba (a type of music and dance from Spain and Latin America) is meant to make them fly away. The singer suggests that if the listener stays with them for a little while, they will receive a gift to remember the experience by.
As the song progresses, the singer encourages the listener to take control of their own destiny, acknowledging their limitations and working to improve themselves without rushing or pushing too hard. They also advise keeping an eye on the future and not losing sight of their goals. The repetition of the chorus reinforces the idea that the rumba is a way to let go and enjoy the moment, and that the singer will be there for anyone who wants to experience it.
Overall, "Rumba Sin Nombre" is a song that celebrates self-acceptance and the joy of living in the present moment. By inviting the listener to be part of the experience, Estopa creates a sense of community and shared happiness.
