Menamoro
Extremoduro Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

y toser, y toser, y toser, y esputar
y toser y toser, y toser y flipar

y toser, y toser, y toser y esputar
y toser, y toser, y toser y flipar

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Extremoduro's song "Menamoro" speak of freedom, love and escapism. The singer of the song, who remains unnamed, falls in love with the air and does everything he wants. He suggests going back to the "moro", a slang term for Morocco, but is ridiculed by others who call him a "culero", someone who smuggles things inside their rectum. Despite the insults, the singer revels in the fact that he carries a piece of heaven within him, possibly referring to the feeling of freedom and happiness that comes with being true to oneself.

The lyrics also touch upon the theme of being judged and questioned, as the singer asks "Who registers me on the controls?" and wonders where the accusing finger is. He claims to have been gathering flowers at the border of love, a possible reference to him crossing the border to find love, only to discover the beauty of nature instead of the beach he was looking for.

Overall, "Menamoro" celebrates the idea of embracing one's desires and living life on one's own terms, even if it means being ridiculed by others.
