Where you wanted me to be
Alone again, just like you always leave me
I can't pretend that I'm not hurting
I'm gonna take a stand
This time you'll see me
The longer I'm awake, the more you suffocate
You're screaming so loud
You don't make a sound
Nothing coming from your tongue will come & save you now
I stand in front of you
You still don't have a clue
To the damage you create
(With your ways)
For all your talk & all you show
Around & round & round we go
I will break this trend
Your carousel's had enough
Are you listening?
Do you here me scream?
The longer I'm awake, the more you suffocate
The voices lost under the roaring waves of your white noise
You're screaming so loud
You don't make a sound
Nothing coming from your tongue will come & save you now
We are
The invincible
We are
We are
The invincible
We are
Being lost in the noise
We are
The invincible
We are
Being lost in the noise
Invincible
Being lost in the noise
The longer I'm awake, the more you suffocate
The voices lost under the roaring waves of your white noise
You're screaming so loud
You don't make a sound
Nothing coming from your tongue will come & save you now.
“White Noise” by Fight The Fade contains several powerful statements about the impact of negative relationships. Throughout the song, the singer describes being left alone repeatedly by a toxic partner, hurting but remaining committed to standing up for themselves. The track issues a warning to those who perpetuate destructive behavior, stating that they will eventually reap what they sow, despite denying or ignoring the damage they’ve caused.
The chorus, particularly the line “The longer I'm awake, the more you suffocate / The voices lost under the roaring waves of your white noise,” has multiple possible interpretations. It could refer to the way toxic people can speak over or invalidate the perspectives of those around them, leading others to feel they’re drowning in a sea of meaningless words. Alternatively, it might explore the concept of gaslighting, in which a manipulative partner gradually convinces their victim that their own perceptions and emotions are false.
Ultimately, the song’s theme is one of empowerment. The singer declares themselves part of an “invincible” group that refuses to be silenced or hurt by others’ negativity. They recognize that it’s challenging to break free from cycles of pain and denial, yet they choose to face their situation head-on rather than allowing themselves to be abused.

É um pecado uma banda dessas não fazer sucesso da forma que realmente merecem, na mesma proporção da qualidade do som que produzem, essa banda é foda...

This song has one of my favorite musical moments. The bridge with the choir is just absolutely awesome and then when the guitars go all syncopated with the background orchestration, its just to die for.
