Gossos Lyrics

Miro al meu voltant i no puc veure res.
Nàufrag al meu mar de llagrimes,
Miro al meu voltant i no puc veure res.
Com deia un vell amic els carrers són plens
I jo encara em sento sol.
Camino sense tenir cap lloc on anar,
I jo encara em sento sol.
Camino sense tenir cap lloc on anar,
Deixo enrera a ciutat.
Esperant el demà,
Esperant el demà.
Estic sol i espantat,
Busco algú al meu costat
Llançat al mig de la ciutat.
Vull que vinguis tu demà,
Així ens podràs abraçar
I estarem junts sota la pluja.
The lyrics of Gossos's song "L'amic" describe a sense of loneliness and isolation, despite being surrounded by people in a bustling city. The singer hears someone crying next to them, but cannot see anyone around. They feel lost in a sea of tears, unable to find their way or connect with others. The repeated chorus of "Esperant el demà" (waiting for tomorrow) suggests a sense of hope and longing for a better future, but also a feeling of being stuck in the present.
The singer recalls the words of a wise old friend who once said that the streets are full of people, but they still feel alone. They wander aimlessly through the city, searching for meaning or purpose. They ultimately decide to leave the city behind, hoping for a fresh start and a new beginning.
The final stanza of the song expresses the singer's fear and desperation as they search for someone to be with. They want their loved one to come to them the next day, so they can be comforted and embraced in the rain. The song captures a sense of emotional vulnerability and the struggles of navigating modern life in a big city.
