Aside from music used directly for the webcomic, fictional characters from the story have been credited with creating records themselves. horizon x OPHELIA
lyrics!
We are synchronous
there's something connecting us
together, we'll be limitless, assiduous;
restless, but always serendipitous
The four of us are a chorus;
formless, but
still a fortress;
ready for metamorphosis
It's a dangerous game
but we will set it aflame
until all that remains
is the vestige of the mundane
We are a four-part omnibus
weakness has no place in us
our aegis is endogenous
we won't give in to fatalist-thought
because the friendship we've wrought
is stronger
than any other
Meticulous syntax to sicknasty kick-back beats;
from gorgeous green eyes to mischievous smiles
We've got something, here
the future is clear
we exist without fear
I think we're best described
as a pyrocumulus
I know there's a fire
deep inside of us
I think we're best described
as a pyrocumulus
I know there's a fire
deep inside of us
Ascension is our destination;
we haven't got time for hesitation
(breakdown)
I think we're best described
as a pyrocumulus
I know there's a fire
deep inside of us
Kiwi The Witch Of Blood
Pyrocumulus is actually quite befitting because:
🔻Jade has the volcano/Mount Doom of HS
🔻Dave has the lava/ash
🔻John has the wind that bursts and spreads it all
out to create the cloud above
🔻Rose has the lightning that often happens when the volcanic ash creates friction and makes cool explosions/lightning/firestorms :D
🌀Together they create a force of nature. An amorphous impregnable citadel with walls as strong as their powers, able to protect what is held valuable to them. They are their own catalyst, contributing to their success yet to something so much bigger.

Since it's been a few years, I figure it's probably legal to ask this...right? I don't remember specifically, but I'm pretty sure one of these words was on the English portion of the SAT when I took it forever ago. I was grinning like an idiot because I had looked it up of my own volition to use in this song. 16-year-old horizon definitely went overboard with the thesaurus, but she was lookin' out for us...................

To be fair, the lyrics do reflect the style of hussie´s writing. Which makes it even better if you take the head cannon that rose is the one singing, since she´s such a sassy bookworm.

you're a good noodle. i hope you find money on the ground.
HM Cloud
Hahaha, what? That´s really cute of you, thanks.
HM Cloud
hehe, cute.
Hey it´s been a few years so it´s prob legal to ask this, I feel in love with your work after you stopped doing it, are you planning on doing more in the future; I hope it´s isn´t too personal a question.

i am! i'm not sure what the fate of this channel will be in regards to new content, but over the past few years i've been slowly working on original material. i've decided i want to do almost everything myself (e.g., writing, producing, legal stuff) so i've also been putting a lot of time into research on copyrights and stuff like that. i also have a few other artistic pursuits i spared myself the embarrassment of posting online as a teenager, and i've been trying to polish those so i can incorporate them into my work.
i'm tempted to say this channel might stay the way it is indefinitely, but i've also been tempted to redo some of my older covers, so those may end up here if the inspiration strikes. right now i work full time AND i'm chipping away at my psych degree, so i'm in more of the creative phase than the executive. when the time comes, i will be sure to keep all of you guys in the loop!!! :)
if you use tumblr, i do have a link to mine on my channel!! i am a bit more active in answering questions on that platform, and any work i post in the future will be posted there as well.
thank you so much for your kind words!!! i hope this answers your question <3

Both of those are definitely happening. Flare is ready to be recorded, and Sburban Jungle is being written. And thank you so much! <3

In eighth grade I had an assignment to memorize and present a poem. Teacher said it didn't have to be a famous poem, but there was a length requirement. I presented the lyrics to this song and said it was "Pyrocumulus by Horizon" and not only did I get full credit but everyone was so impressed with the vocab lmfao
