Mon Frere
L (Raphaële Lannadère) Lyrics

Si le ciel est superbe,
Quand il est vert de gris
Mais que tes yeux s’y perdent,
Viens vite me retrouver
Dans ma chambre en secret,
Je saurai leur rappeler
S’ils souffrent d’amnésie,
J’teindrai mes murs en bleu
Pour leur faire un abris,
On s’ra que tous les deux…
Mon frère, mon frère
Mon frère, mon petit,
Si le ciel est superbe,
Quand il est vert de gris
Mais que tes yeux s’y perdent,
J’ouvrirai les cartons
Où je range mes souv’nirs,
On r’trouvera nos sourires
Et nos vieilles chansons.
Si tu t’en souviens pas,
Je relierai pour toi
Nos lettres et nos saisons,
Tu t’étonneras peut-être…
Mon frère, mon frère
Mon frère, mon petit,
Si le ciel est superbe,
Quand il est vert de gris
Mais que tes yeux s’y perdent,
J’me souviendrai pour toi
Des choses qu’on disait pas,
Quand on est tout petit,
Comme on était nous deux,
Les mots doux, les aveux,
Les baisers dans le cou,
J’ai des photos de nous
Et on n’a pas vieilli…
Mon frère, mon frère
The song "Mon frère" by L (Raphaële Lannadère) is a touching tribute to a sibling. The singer addresses her brother, offering comfort and support in times of need. The lyrics describe how the two of them can retreat to the singer's room when the world becomes too much, and how she will use colorful decorations to help her brother remember the joys of childhood. She promises to help her brother remember the things they used to say and do together, from whispering sweet nothings to kissing each other's necks. The song is a beautiful ode to the bond between siblings and the importance of cherishing the memories from childhood.
The first verse describes how the sky can be beautiful, even when it is gray, and how the singer wants to remind her brother of those beautiful things even when he cannot see them for himself. When the world seems bleak and dreary, she promises to create a safe haven just for the two of them, where they can reminisce about their childhood and find solace in each other's company. The second verse speaks to the importance of memories and how they can help us through difficult times. The singer offers to share her own memories with her brother and to help him remember the things they shared together. The final verse reflects on the power of time and how, even as the siblings grow up, their bond remains strong. The singer reminds her brother that they haven't aged a day in her mind and that their love for each other is as strong as ever.

Merci Maxime Le Forestier. Tu restes l'Âme de ma génération.
