Some of their biggest hits were cover versions of american hits like Fue en un Café (Under the Boardwalk), Sussie Q, Solo un Sueño (Just a Dream) and many more. The songs were translated from English to Spanish, and Los Apson saw an unprecedented success in their home country, thus becoming one of the biggest bands in mexican history.

Even though you want me to
I can't wait forever to know if you'll be true
Time won't let me
Time won't let me
Time won't let me wait too long
I can't wait forever
Can't you see I've waited too long to love you
To hold you in my arms
Time won't let me
Time won't let me
Time won't let me wait too long
Time won't let me
Time won't let me
Time won't let me
The lyrics of "Con El Tiempo Y Un Ganchito" by Los Apson are about the limits of patience in a romantic relationship. The singer is being asked by the person they love to wait for them to prove their fidelity, but the singer knows that time is running out. They express their frustration with waiting and their desire to know the truth. The phrase "con el tiempo y un ganchito" is a colloquialism that means "eventually," but the song suggests that time may not be on the singer's side.
The repetition of "Time won't let me" emphasizes the urgency of the situation and the fact that the singer doesn't have forever to wait for their lover to make a decision. The second verse adds an extra layer of emotion to the song by revealing that the singer has already been waiting "too long" to express their love and hold the person they desire in their arms. The lyrics suggest that the singer is ready to move on if the other party can't make a commitment, but they still have hope that their love will be reciprocated before it's too late.
Overall, "Con El Tiempo Y Un Ganchito" is a powerful statement on the limits of patience and the importance of honesty and commitment in relationships. The lyrics are simple but impactful, and the song's upbeat tempo and catchy melody make it a memorable classic in Mexican pop music.
