La ville sans nom bercée par l'ennui
Toi tu rêvais d'être ébloui
Si les étoiles te servent d'abri.
Alors viens, oh oui viens.
Prend ma main
Oublie tes pleurs, tes chagrins
Oh ce soir j't'emmène
Danser sur la lune
Flâner sur les dunes.
Le jour on tire sa révérence
La nuit se pose avec élégance
Tes yeux se lèvent plein d'insouciance
Tu voudrais bien que l'on recommence.
Alors viens, oh oui viens.
Oh allez j't'emmène,
Danser sur la lune
Flâner sur les dunes
Danser sur la lune.
S'évader un instant
Du souffle des tourments
Retrouver le sourire,
Le parfum des plaisirs
Je connais ce chemin.
Je connais ce chemin.
Je t'y emmène allez viens!
Oh oui viens, allez viens!
Oublie tes pleurs, tes chagrins
Prend ma main
Ce soir, j't'emmène,
Danser sur la lune
Flâner sur les dunes
Danser sur la lune.
Allez viens
Allez viens, je t'emmène,
Danser sur la lune
Je t'emmène là-haut
Danser, danser
Danser sur la lune
Humm, humm
Danser sur la lune.
The lyrics for "Danser Sur La Lune" by Marilou paint a picture of a person who is feeling trapped and bored in a nameless city with grays and greyness surrounding them, dreaming of being dazzled and shining bright like the stars that offer them refuge. The singer offers to take the person's hand and lead them away from their sorrows and tears, taking them on a journey the moon and dunes instead. The night offers an opportunity to escape the struggles of the day and start anew with fresh eyes and a carefree attitude. The lyrics suggest that the person has taken this journey before, and knows the way to create an atmosphere of happiness and freedom. They offer to take the person with them on this journey again, promising to teach them the path to the same source of pleasure and freedom.
The lyrics capture a feeling of escapism and the desire to have new adventures when life gets burdened by struggles. The song presents the idea that it is possible to take a break from reality and find solace when life's stresses become overwhelming. It is relatively easy to get caught up in the day-to-day grind, and the song captures the idea of shaking up your life and finding a new perspective.
