Meglio così
Pierangelo Bertoli Lyrics

Le mie parole cercano complici
L'aria si fa scura
Sopra i pensieri gravano nuvole
Non danno luce nemmeno dentro me e mi ritrovo a dire
Sogni, piangi, forse ridi, allora
Io credo in fondo… meglio così…
Se non mi pensi più.
In Pierangelo Bertoli's song Meglio così, he describes a moment of introspection that occurs as the sun sets and darkness falls. He is searching for someone to connect with, but instead finds clouds weighing heavy on his thoughts, leaving him with a feeling of emptiness. Despite this feeling, he ultimately decides that "Meglio così" or "it's better this way" for the other person. He tells them that if they don't come looking for him and his reasons for feeling this way don't matter, then it's better for them to just move on.
The lyrics of this song explore complex emotions of longing, detachment, and acceptance. The use of imagery such as "the sun finding its limit" and "clouds weighing heavy" add to the emotional intensity of the lyrics. Bertoli's voice and the melancholic music add to the emotional tone of the song, making it a powerful expression of the pain of letting go.
