The lyrics of Smitten's song "Piensa En Mi" express the singer's desire for their lover to believe in and trust them. The opening lines acknowledge that things will inevitably change, but the singer knows it can be difficult to trust in dreams and in matters of the heart. The singer asks their lover to close their eyes and listen to their voice, assuring them that there is something within them that makes them believe in their partner.
The chorus repeats the phrases "Piensa en mí" and "Cree en mí", translating to "Think of me" and "Believe in me" in English, respectively. The singer emphasizes that they no longer care where they are, as long as their lover's heart trusts them. They also reassure their partner that nothing new will happen that will damage their trust. The singer's only desire is for their heart to remain with their lover.
The second verse of the song acknowledges that it is easy to change dreams and illusions. However, the singer wants their lover to understand that their mere presence has changed their pain into love. The singer expresses the wish to see their partner smiling all the time.
Overall, "Piensa En Mi" is a beautiful love song that expresses the depth of love and the importance of trust in a relationship. The singer's beautiful voice and the simple yet powerful lyrics make it a beautiful song that is sure to resonate with listeners.
