In 1991, in the height of their popularity, they recorded a double LP, part of it live: "Ben Endins" (Deep Inside), which became a platinum disc in 2000.
With the release of their ninth album, "Nou" (meaning both Nine and New), they regained their popularity. A couple of singles were hits in the local radio stations.
In 2001 they published their last album before break-up, "Plou i fa sol" (Sunny and rainy), although they kept on playing live and publishing some live and acoustic albums until 2003.

The lyrics of Sopa De Cabra's song "El Boig de la Ciutat" tell a story of a man who just wanted peace and quiet after spending nights on the road.
