Zaustavi Se Vjetre
Thompson Lyrics

Viđa li mi dragu, i pita li za mene?
Prolazija jesam krajevima tvojim.
Draga te jo voli cijelim srcem svojim
Piju li nam vuci sa izvora vodu?
Da li nam slavuji pjevaju u zoru?
Vukovi se kriju i piju ti vodu.
Veseli slavuji pjevaju u zoru,
Pjevaju u zoru.
Vjetre s dinare, zaustavi se.
Vjetre s dinare,
Čujes li me?
Vjetre s dinare, posluaj me!
Gdje sam rođen, tu ponesi me.
Kako mi je mati otkad s ocem nije?
Da li sada stari prikovie pije?
Mati ti je dobro, ne znam moda krije.
Otac ti odavno dolazija nije.
ta mi je sa bratom, kau veliki je.
Sigurno je baka bolesna k'o prije
E, jo ti se braco oenija nije.
Baka ti jo dida pribolila nije,
Pribolila nije.
Vjetre s dinare zaustavi se
Vjetre s dinare,
Čujes li me?
Vjetre s dinare, posluaj me
Gdje sam rođen, tu ponesi me.
In Thompson's song "Zaustavi Se Vjetre," the singer addresses the wind, asking if it has seen his beloved and if she has asked about him. The lyrics continue with the singer reminiscing about wandering through the land where his beloved lived, and how she still loves him with her whole heart. He then asks if the wolves are drinking from the springs and if the nightingales are singing in the dawn. The following lines provide a contrast between the wild, hidden wolves and the cheerful, singing nightingales.
The chorus repeats the opening lines, with the singer imploring the wind to listen to him and carry him back to where he was born. The last verse is a series of questions about the singer's family, whether his mother is well, if his father still drinks, if his brother is married and his grandmother is still ill. The final line insists that the wind can take him home.

Stop, wind, I'd like to ask you something
Have you seen my dear and does she ask for me?

Your dear still loves you with all her heart
Do the wolves drink from our spring?
Do the nightingales sing at the dawn?
The wolves hide and drink your water
Happy nightingales sing at the dawn
Sing at the dawn
Refrain
Wind from the Dinara, hey, stop
Wind from the Dinara, hey, do you hear me?

Does my old man drink more now?
You mother is good, I don't know, maybe she's hiding it
Your father hasn't come for a long time
How is my brother, they say, he's grown
I'm sure grandmother is sick like before
Well, your brother still hasn't married
Your grandmother still hasn't gotten over your grandfather
Hasn't gotten over

katarina, svaka čast, skidam kapu. uradak je perfektan i tehnički i estetski. nije mi jasno kako kljusine mogu u toj pjesmi vidjeti bilo što šovinističko. još jednom, kapa dolje, rukoljub i svaka čast.
