Parker gained fame as one of the best French players in the NBA, playing at point guard. Parker, although born in Belgium, was raised in France, and is a French citizen. His father, Tony Parker Sr., is an African-American former professional basketball player and his mother, Pamela Firestone, a Dutch model. He has two younger brothers, T.J. and Pierre, who both play basketball.
