Blind Melon Lyrics
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain
I like watchin' the puddles gather rain
And all I can do is just pour some tea for two
And speak my point of view but it's not sane
It's not sane
I just want someone to say to me, oh
I'll always be there when you wake, yeah
You know I'd like to keep my cheeks dry today
So stay with me and I'll have it made
And I don't understand why I sleep all day
And I start to complain that there's no rain
And all I can do is read a book to stay awake
And it rips my life away but it's a great escape
Escape, escape, escape
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain
You don't like my point of view, you think that I'm insane
It's not sane, it's not sane
I just want someone to say to me, oh
I'll always be there when you wake, yeah
You know I'd like to keep my cheeks dry today
So stay with me and I'll have it made
(I'll have it made) I'll have it made
(I'll have it made) I'll have it made
(I'll have it made) oh, no, no
You know, I really wanna, really gonna have it made
(I'll have it made) you know I'll have it made
(I'll have it made) oh
(I'll have it made) oh
(I'll have it made) oh
(I'll have it made) oh

I related a little too well to this song when I had a bout with depression a few years ago. It perfectly describes how someone feels when they have it.

One time, I was in a crowded bookstore/coffee-shop, and there was just too much going on. I don't know what it was, I just had enough of it. I broke down and had this panic attack from all those people. Went outside, spilled my 20oz. coffee, didn't even stop to clean it up. Had like 3 or 4 cigarettes... went back inside, tried to read a book, ended up just pretending. It was one of the strangest experiences of my life. This song comes on the radio, and I just suddenly mellowed out.

@Tootsi troll Oh, in fact, I am quite experienced. Perhaps acid AND Blind Melon would be the perfect solution! As I mentioned in previous comments, though, it's not a chronic condition.

@redman840 Solid advice. It's not an incredibly common occurrence for me, and I've utilized both methods on numerous occasions, usually to great effect.
