Оскільки гурт зорієнтований на тексти переважно патріотичної та соціальної тематики, музиканти зупинились на назві «Широкий Лан», яка на їхню думку символізує силу та єдність свідомого, розумного, здорового та сильного українського народу!

На сьогоднішній день гурт має достатньо матеріалу, який можна поділити на три програми: акустичну, легку електричну та важку електричну.
