In 2005, Camille released Le fil. This is a concept album, built on one note (a B) that starts at the beginning of the album and stops at its end. All the songs of the album are constructed on the voice of Camille with only one instrument (double-bass, and sometimes a keyboard).
Camille's third studio album Music Hole, released in March 2008, shows a key turn in her career: it is mostly sung in English.

To be or not to be
Est-ce que Dieu existe
Mais pour comprendre la marche do monde
Il faudrait que
Les hommes m’expliquent
Qu’est-ce qu’il y a dans le sac des filles
Voyait en rêve
Le sac de Joséphine
Ses hommes do haut de son empire
Se creusaient encore
La cervelle
Mais Qu’est-ce qu’il y a dans le sac des filles
Qu’est-ce qu’il y a dans le sac des filles
Qu’est-ce qu’il y a dans le tête des hommes
Élémentaire mon cher Watson
Des sacs de filles pleins à rabords
Des brunes des rousses
Des boucles d’or
The lyrics of Camille's song Le Sac Des Filles convey the idea that people often overthink things, questioning the existence of God and trying to understand the world. However, the singer suggests that to truly comprehend the world, she would need men to explain it to her. This is juxtaposed with the question of what's in a woman's bag. Even Napoleon, the powerful leader, was curious about what was inside Josephine's bag. The singer suggests that men are always trying to understand women, but they will never fully comprehend them. The final line of the song references a woman catching a man in the act of something, represented by the phrase "elle m'a pris la main dans le sac." This phrase has a double meaning in French, referring to both catching someone in the act and literally catching someone with their hand in a bag.
The song is critical of the way society often tries to understand women but cannot. The lyrics are inquisitive and curious, but the overall tone is one of frustration. The idea of "what's in the bag" is a metaphor for women, suggesting that men will never truly understand them completely.
