They are known for their unique sound and goofy style. In 1995 they released their first CD titled "Peor es mascar lauchas, roughly translated to "anything is better than nothing at all," a pre-emptive excuse for those who did not like the album. They actively participate in community-related events, playing benefits for the Chilean National Commission of Scientific and Technological Investigation. They are also known for musical contributions to the popular Chilean children's puppet show 31 Minutos.
Chancho en Piedra has released 11 albums since their debut in 1995, gaining them widespread familiarity, not only in Latin America but internationally as well, allowing them to perform at events such as the Memphis' Beale Street Music Festival in May of 2009.

Un señor multiricachón
disfrazó su fortuna
se largó para presenciar
la vida en la basura
No le gustó la miseria
ni la necesidad de la gente
regalando su cinura
Te aseguro que regaló
las riquezas de familia
Te aseguro que obsequió
hasta su propia dentadura
Reunió todo el mundo en su mansión
y se armo una gran fiesta
cada persona se retiro
con algún objeto de valor
El señor multiricachón
agotó su dinero
no encontró nada mejor que
regalar amor sincero
Te aseguro que regaló
las riquezas de familia
Te aseguro que obsequió
hasta su propia dentadura
Te aseguro que no se arrepintió
consecuente a su postura
Te aseguro que feliz vivió
este multiricachon
Ricachón, ricachón
Viejo loco es multiricachon
Ricachón, ricachón
Viejo loco es multiricachon
Ricachón, ricachón
Viejo loco es multiricachon
Te aseguró que regaló
las riquezas de familia
Te aseguro que obsequió
hasta su propia dentadura
Te aseguro que no se arrepintió
consecuente a su postura
Te aseguro que feliz vivió
este multiricachon
Hombre multiricachon
personaje bonachón
de todo se desprendió
este multiricachón
Feliz vivió, feliz vivió
de todo se desprendió
sin casa, sin vida, en la nada
que extraña situación... que vivió¡¡¡
Ricachón, ricachón
Viejo loco es multiricachon
Ricachón, ricachón
Viejo loco es multiricachon
Ricachón, ricachón
Viejo loco es multiricachon
The song "Multirricachon" by Chancho En Piedra tells the story of a wealthy man who disguises his fortune and ventures into the world of poverty and need. Despite finding the world of misery and poverty distressing, he doesn't lose sight of his mission, and continues to help those in need. He transforms into a madman and starts giving away his family's riches and even his own teeth. He invites everyone to his mansion, and it turns into a huge party where everyone leaves with some object of value.
However, the man eventually exhausts his wealth by giving and giving, and decides that the only thing left to give is love. In the end, he is happy with his decision and the way he lived his life- happy, content, and selfless. The song celebrates the idea that one can find true happiness through giving and helping others, even if it means giving up material possessions.
Overall, the song advocates for a life of selflessness and service to others, even if it means sacrificing some of your own comforts or material possessions.

@Vankardia
@EverydayDeckienson
@pr.cerebron
@_Hlroo
