Cuanto te quise
Cuanto espere por ti
Si tu supieras
Que un tiempo mis ojos
Solo creían en ti
Wow oh oh oh oh
No estoy jugando me estas lastimando
Wow oh oh oh oh
Wow oh oh oh oh
Si no te hubiera asustado intentarlo
Wow oh oh oh oh
The lyrics of Dulce María's song "Si Tú Supieras" describe the pain and frustration of a failed relationship. The singer expresses how much she loved and waited for her partner, but despite her efforts, the relationship did not work out. She is tired of trying and realizes he is only hurting her. The singer has come to a point where she does not want to be with him anymore and hopes to never love or see him again. She even asks him to return her heart. The chorus repeats the phrase "Ya no quiero estar contigo," which means "I do not want to be with you anymore." The singer regrets not knowing what could have happened if they had tried harder, but she is tired of living in the past and hopes to move on.
This song emphasizes the pain and struggle of failed relationships, which many people can relate to. The singer's desperation and frustration are palpable, as she admits to being hurt by her partner. The song's catchy chorus and upbeat instrumentation contrast with its melancholy lyrics, adding to the emotional weight of the song.
