In the song "Ghamnomeh" by Ebi, the lyrics speak of a deep sorrow that the singer is experiencing. The first two lines describe how the singer's tears join with the blood of canaries being slaughtered at a market. The use of the canaries as imagery adds to the sadness and loss that the singer is feeling, as they are innocent creatures being killed for profit. The next two lines talk about the singer being accused of a crime, perhaps the crime of showing emotions and crying in a society that doesn't allow for such vulnerabilities.
The chorus speaks of hope and perseverance. The singer encourages the listener to remain faithful like the canaries and to believe in the possibility of making the impossible possible. The following stanza speaks to the singer's desire to find comfort and solace in someone else. The singer's "abru," or honor, has been tarnished and they hope that their companion can help them regain it. The last part of the song speaks to the power of hope and determination. The singer urges the listener to not give up in the face of adversity, even when it feels like there is nothing left to hold onto.
Overall, the song "Ghamnomeh" speaks to the human experience of pain, suffering, and the desire to find hope in dark times. It encourages listeners to hold onto faith and to not give up, even when life feels unbearable.

The world is full of impossibilities, but you can be possible

We may have seen our garden plagued, but let's bring forth spring
We create hope from despair like a hundred suns from a dead candle
Even if you're tired of carrying this long-standing resentment
