I'm yours forever and a day
With these hands, I will bring to you
A tender love as warm as May
With this heart, I will sing to you
Long after stars have lost their glow
And with these hands, I'll provide for you
I'll turn the tide for you
And I'll never
No, I'll never let you go
With these hands, I'll provide for you
Should there be a stormy sea
I'll turn the tide for you
And I'll never
No, I'll never let you go
The lyrics to Eddie Fisher's song "With These Hands" are a declaration of undying commitment and love from the perspective of the singer. They describe a profound desire and willingness to do anything for the person to whom the words are addressed. The repeated refrain "With these hands" emphasizes the singer's physical and emotional devotion, assuring the listener that they will be taken care of no matter what life may bring.

The second verse continues this theme, stating that the singer's heart will sing for their beloved long after the stars have lost their glow, indicating that their love will transcend time and space.
The final verse adds a note of practicality to the song's romantic sentiments, with the singer promising to provide for their lover and take care of them even in the face of difficulty, using their hands to "turn the tide" and never let them go. Overall, "With These Hands" is a sweeping expression of abiding love and a powerful reminder of the importance of commitment and devotion in relationships.
