The band eventually broke up in 1996 and Bunbury started his solo career in 1997 with a techno album, Radical Sonora with his new band: Copi (piano), del Moran (bass), Ramón Gacias (drums) and former Héroes del Silencio guitarrist Alan Boguslavsky.
Recognized by his wish to always reinvent himself, Bunbury released in 1999 the album Pequeño, which sounded much different than anything he did before. His band also suffered changes, Boguslavsky was replaced by Rafa Domínguez, and the new faces, Ana Belén Estaje (violin), Luis Miguel Romero (percussion), Javier Iñigo, Javier García Vega & Antonio Ríos in the metal instruments.
This band was known as the "Huracán Ambulante" ("Rambling Hurricane") and recorded with Bunbury the rest of his solo discography, (except Antonio Ríos).
In 2005, after 8 years together, Bunbury dissolved the band and declared that will record a new album in 2006 only with his voice and a piano. Nevertheless, in early 2006 he recorded an album with spanish artist Nacho Vegas by the name of El tiempo de las cerezas.
His old band, Héroes del Silencio, reunited in 2007 for a short tour which visited Latin America, United States and Spain.

Trinidad, Si!
Trinidad tiene triple personalidad
"Trinidad" is a popular song by Enrique Bunbury, a Spanish singer-songwriter. The song is about a woman named Trinidad who has three different personalities, each of which the singer, presumably Bunbury himself, finds hard to understand. The song unveils these different personas through the course of the lyrics. The woman has a sultry, seductive side with a strong Argentine accent, which is the singer's favorite. She also has a domestic side, where she is the perfect housewife, always tidying up after the singer, which is quite annoying to him. Lastly, her socialite personality is an enigma to the singer, as he feels threatened by the attention she attracts from her provocative friends.
The song is a representation of Bunbury's personal experience with women, where he finds it difficult to understand and relate to their multi-faceted personalities. Trinidad, being a Spanish name, also represents the cultural diversity in Spain, where regions with different customs, accents, and social norms can create multi-dimensional individuals that can be hard to comprehend. The song beautifully captures the complexity of an individual and how their different personalities can be both fascinating and frustrating.
