For several years they toured, both solo and together, as choir members before they decided to team up as a duo. After this decision, things took off quickly with an EP in February 2012 and winning awards at the Francouvertes.
Since then they have performed at various festivals and won other prestigious awards, like the "best new artist" at the GAMIQ's.
Their album, "Le Poids des Confettis", was released in March of 2013 and quickly gained popularity and awards, including "Revelation of the year" and "Best folk album" along with several other nominations.

The song "La fatigue du nombre" by Les soeurs Boulay speaks about the weight of prior generations and their actions that may still impact the current generation. The first verse talks about how the older generations may have forgotten their past experiences and instead, are too invested in seeking ultimate achievements in life, like exploring the universe. The lyrics, "Dans la course aux plus ultimes lumières, De la grande Ourse et des confins de l'univers," may indicate how the older generation may be too focused on seeking their own greatness, ultimately ignoring the consequences their actions have on the younger generation.
In the chorus, the song asserts how the fatigue of the older generation does not affect the younger generation's willpower, and that the weight of their shadow may allow the younger generation to rise above the past. The lyrics, "Mais la fatigue du nombre, Ne nous endormira pas, Et le poids de votre ombre, Je crois, nous allègera" can be interpreted as the older generation's influence may lighten the burden for the younger generation, allowing them to move forward with hope and optimism.
The second verse tells how the younger generation can learn from the older generation's mistakes and succeed in the future. The lyrics, "Les milliards...Sont ceux qui cueilleront les fruits de vos défaites" contain a message that even though the older generations may have fallen short, ultimately, the future is in the hands of the upcoming generations.
Overall, the song is a reminder that despite the actions of the past, the future is always within reach, and the youth have the opportunity to create a world that is better than the past.

Bravo encore pour votre excellent show.
