Preguntamos lo que pasa; pero se quedan callados,
Cubren la evidencia y nos siguen mintiendo,
Piensan que no nos damos cuenta de que son:
Bush, Pinochet, Hitler, Baby Doc, asesinos
Bush, Pinochet, Hitler, Baby Doc, asesinos
Quieres engañar todos que sepan.
Tuy yo juntos empujamos
Hasta la rebaja de los estados fascistas
Bush, Pinochet, Hitler, Baby Doc, asesinos
Bush, Pinochet, Hitler, Baby Doc, asesinos
Bush, Pinochet, Hitler, Baby Doc, asesinos
The song "Asesinos" by Los Crudos addresses the issue of government corruption and violence, calling out notorious political leaders past and present as murderers. The lyrics describe how these leaders kill people with ease and without shame, and how they cover up their actions and continue to lie to the public. Los Crudos urges listeners to not remain silent or ignorant about the situation and to come together to push back against fascist regimes. The repeated naming of "Bush, Pinochet, Hitler, Baby Doc" as murderers emphasizes the band's stance that the atrocities committed by these leaders must not be ignored or forgotten.
The lyrics of "Asesinos" express a political commentary on world leadership, specifically criticizing the United States and South American countries for their role in promoting fascist governments. The use of the term "Baby Doc" refers to Jean-Claude Duvalier, former president of Haiti, who was known for his authoritarian rule and human rights abuses. "Pinochet" refers to the former Chilean dictator, Augusto Pinochet, whose regime was notorious for its brutal repression of political opponents. "Hitler" is a reference to the notorious Nazi leader who committed countless war crimes and genocide during his reign. By drawing attention to these individuals, Los Crudos highlights the ongoing struggle for human rights and democracy.
