In 2004, Martin Sorrondeguy released his documentary film Beyond The Screams: A U.S. Latino Hardcore Punk Documentary, which focused on the Latino punk scene in the US. After Los Crudos came to an end, Sorrondeguy formed a new band, Limp Wrist, a queercore and straight edge band with which he performs. He has also been in the bands Harto and Tragatelo, as well. Guitarist Jose has gone onto play in Chicago punk bands I Attack and Kontaminat. Their last drummer Ebro was also in Charles Bronson, MK-Ultra and Punch In the Face.
Los Crudos did a surprise reunion show at the first "Latino Fest" put on by Southkore records in Chicago. They also played a reunion show at Chaos in Tejas 2008 and are scheduled to play the 3rd Latino Fest in Los Angeles.
Along with Limp Wrist, Martin is also in NN and Needles.

We′re that spic band!
Los Crudos's song "That's Right We're That Spic Band" is a bold declaration of pride and defiance from a Latinx punk band. The opening lines of the song, "That's right, motherfucker. We're that spic band!" assert the band's identity and reject any attempt to marginalize or deride them for their ethnicity. This declaration of identity is immediately followed by a challenge to the listener's own professed punk authenticity: "You say, you call yourself a punk? Bullshit!" The repetition of this phrase and the subsequent accusations of being a "closet fucking nazi" and fearing the band all point to a larger discomfort with Latinx punk and an unwillingness to engage with it.
The central message of the song is one of power and confidence, even in the face of marginalization and exclusion. The word "spic" is a derogatory and racist term for a Latinx person, so by choosing to lead with it in the song title and opening lyrics, Los Crudos immediately take ownership of the term and turn it into a badge of honor. The repetition of the phrase "We're that spic band!" serves as a powerful rallying cry for Latinx punks and a challenge to anyone who would exclude them from the punk scene.
Overall, Los Crudos's "That's Right We're That Spic Band" is a defiant, unapologetic statement of Latinx identity in the punk world. It challenges the listener to confront their own biases and prejudices, while celebrating the power and resilience of marginalized communities.
