Their "Mi Agüita amarilla" single (My Yellow Water) is still well-known and it stays as one of the symbols of the "Movida Madrileña" movement in the Spanish collective mind. Being their main hit, the lyrics describe what happens to the "yellow water" coming out of our body as it "spreads all over the world and turns the jungle green and falls over you all again. The group was also famous for their various appearances on the young audience targeted "La Bola de Cristal" TV Show hosted by the singer and another "Movida" symbol Alaska.
Disbanded in 1992, Pablo Carbonell is still a well known TV showman.

The lyrics to Los Toreros Muertos’ song Bum Bum 1789 depict a group of people who feel they deserve something better, as they stand outside the French palace wanting to enter without paying. The lyrics make reference to wanting to take history and overpower it, presumably to take control and establish a new order. The chorus is a repetition of the phrase “bum bum, hay que tirar la puerta” which translates to “boom boom, we have to break the door down”. The group proceeds to ransack the palace, taking everything they can find from silverware to the queen’s bed which they ‘recover for the world’.
