Punkreas are a ska/punk band from Milan, Italy and a punk band from Slovakia
Punkreas from Italy:
Are one of the most popular punk bands in Italy. They were founded in Parabiago, Milan, in 1989 and in 2008 they published their last record.
Punkreas are composed of Cippa (voice), Flaco (electric guitar), Paletta (electric bass), Noyse (electric guitar) and Gagno (drums), who substituted Mastino since the record Falso.
Punkreas are playing a mixture of punk rock, hardcore punk, and ska/punk. Their lyrics, mostly in italian, generally portray the band members' leftist views on politics and society issues.
Punkreas fans agree that the band's music is constantly developing and improving. Their sound has been reported to become more complex with more focus to their ska rhythms.
SLOVAK:
Kapela PUNKREAS vznikla v polovici 90-tých rokov.
Zakladajúcimi členmi boli:
„Hetyi” Peter „Špako”- spev, gitara
Andrej - gitara, vokály
Marcel - basa
Miro - bicie
Koncom roku 2005 Samesz dostane dobrú pracovnú ponuku v Anglicku a odchádza z kapely. Keďže kapela má dopredu dohodnuté termíny koncertov musí rýchle nájsť primeranú náhradu, a za bicie zasadá ROBO. Kapela chce dosiahnuť väčšiu sýtosť a mohutnosť zvuku a preto rozmýšľa o ďalšej gitare. Netrvá dlho a ľavú stranu pódia obsadzuje MIŠO.

Acapulco meta d'oro d'affaristi e finanzieri
The lyrics to Punkreas's song Chiapas describe the escalating social and political conflict in Mexico's southern state of Chiapas. The opening lines highlight the stark contrast between the hot sun and white beaches of Mexico's coast, which are marketed to tourists in American holiday brochures, and the increasing tension and unrest brewing in the underdeveloped region. The song focuses on the discontent and rage of the local population, who feel they have been exploited for the benefit of rich businessmen and financiers. The rising inflation due to the reckless importation of goods into the region sparks clashes amid torrential tropical rains, as locals oppose those who use violence to save their shady businesses.
The song also draws attention to the corrupt political system in Mexico, which has led to the selling out of its people by the president in return for financial support from the US. The consequences of this political action are shown to be devastating, as people cannot afford to live, and conflict continues to escalate within the region. The lyrics conclude on a note of frustration as the resistance groups continue to evade the military, and no solution seems to be in sight.
Overall, the lyrics to Punkreas's song Chiapas focus on the harsh reality of exploitation, governance, and conflict in Mexico's underdeveloped regions.
