Get Back

Get back
Get back
Get back, get back
Get back
Get back
Get back, get back
Get back (get back)
Get back (get back)
Get back
Get back
Get back, get back
Get back, get back
Get back, get back
Get back
The lyrics to Shota Shimizu's song "Get Back" address the issue of people losing touch with their true selves and their authentic emotions. Shimizu opens the song by asking if the listener thinks it's strange for him to talk about being true to oneself. However, he implores the listener not to think that way and goes on to explain that he's always believed in the importance of being true to oneself. He then talks about the things in life that are colorful and enjoyable, such as traveling or having a colorful umbrella, but he wants to have quiet moments with the one he loves, just the two of them, where they can talk and connect.
In the chorus, Shimizu sings "Get back" repeatedly, encouraging the listener to stop brushing aside their true feelings and thoughts with vague answers. He reminisces about the past, urging everyone to not be confused and to know that they have not changed. Time has simply allowed them to see the truth for what it is. He acknowledges that society sometimes puts a lot of emphasis on superficial things, like appearance, but urges people to remember their past and to hold onto that essence of themselves.
Overall, the song is a call to action for people to reconnect with their true selves, their desires and their emotions, and to not be swept up by societal norms and expectations.
