Dans la faïence de Gien
A moins qu'ce soit du Limoges {x2}
Manger du gâteau raté
Pourtant quel étouffe-chrétien
Reste coincé dans ma gorge {x2}
Il est dur comme de la pierre
S'il prend le mauvais chemin {x2}
Soit le trou de la prière
Comme l'appelait ma grand mère
Alors je passerai la main {x2}
Faut surveiller sa grammaire
Comme un académicien
Faut pas dire le frère à Georges {x2}
Mais je ne suis pas son frère
Et encore moins son cousin
J'attends pas qu'on m'interroge {x2}
N'appelez pas la police
Je suis le coquin d' vot' fils
Car il préfère les garçons {x2}
N'appelez pas la police
Mais le coiffeur de service
Car vos cheveux se hérissent
On dirait un hérisson
Elle a renversé le thé
Et la faïence de Gien
A moins qu'ce soit du Limoges {x2}
Pis le temps s'est arrêté
A part les soupirs du chien
On n'entendait plus qu'l'horloge {x2}
A part les soupirs d'Ulysse
Qui me bavait sur la cuisse
On entendait l'coucou suisse
Ca me donnait des frissons
Je suis le coquin d' vot' fils
Pas d' quoi briser vot' service
Attendez que je fournisse
Une petite explication
Je r'monte à l'Antiquité
Je fais appel aux Anciens
J'lui fais visiter les loges {x2}
Mais comme le gâteau raté
Que son garçon en soit un
Reste coincé dans sa gorge {x2}
Le moyen pour que ça glisse
Et déboucher l'orifice
C'est d'avaler d' la mie d' pain {x2}
Paraît qu'y en a qui dévissent
Avant d' compter jusqu'à dix
En se coinçant un pépin {x2}
Nous r'viendrons sucer du thé
Dans la faïence de Gien
A moins qu'ce soit du Limoges {x2}
Et pour ne pas vous heurter
Nous raconterons aux voisins
Que je suis le frère à Georges {x2}
The song "Georges" by Thomas Fersen tells the story of a visit to Georges' home, where they drank tea and ate some failed cake. However, things take a dark turn as Georges is described as a dangerous person who could send the singer to the grave if he takes the wrong path. Despite this, the singer refuses to be called Georges' brother or cousin, as he waits for someone to question him. The lyrics also include a reference to Georges' son and his preference for boys, but the singer pleads not to call the police and instead calls for a hairdresser as their hair stands on end like a hedgehog's. The song ends with the singer proposing another visit to Georges' home, but this time, they will tell others that he is Georges' brother to avoid any issues and conflict.
