Fuck it!
Ingen kudde, bara madrassen.
En high 5 o en falafel, så ge mig en
High 5 o en falafel
High 5 o en falafel
High 5 o en falafel
High 5 o en falafel
Som en kung, bara jag får spela.
Allt e lugnt, behöver inget mera.
Bär det tungt, bara jag får leva
Tar jag det jag delas
Ingen stress, bara jag får spela
Har inte mest, behöver inget mera
Vilken fest, bara jag får leva
Tar jag det jag delas
The lyrics in Timbuktu's song "En high 5 & 1 falafel" talk about finding contentment in the little things in life. The first paragraph talks about how the feeling of satisfaction is worth all the effort put into attaining it. The singer also talks about how having rhythm in one's blood keeps them young at heart, and how material things do not necessarily equate to better music. The second paragraph touches on the idea of balance and the importance of finding happiness in the present moment. The singer urges listeners to focus on the beauty in their lives rather than what could have been, and to enjoy life without stressing out over things that aren't worth the trouble.
Overall, the message of the song is one of appreciation for the simple things in life. The singer stresses that they don't need expensive foods or fancy possessions to be happy, and that as long as they have music and good company, they are content. The chorus emphasizes this point, with the singer expressing their joy at being able to play music, live their life, and take what comes their way.
