Dienen tikt tegen mijn ruit
Schrijf schrijf, kriebel kriebel ...
"Oeioei, nu dachtekik da gijle nen bak wortelen waart" (hehe)
The lyrics to Urbanus's song The Scratchin' Zwaantjes tell the story of an encounter with the police, or "zwaantjes" (little swans) as they are called in Dutch, while driving on the freeway. Urbanus is flying over the road at a speed of 170 km/h when the police catch him and make him stop his car. One of the officers approaches the car and starts speaking in French, asking Urbanus what he is doing there. Urbanus, who doesn't speak French very well, starts rambling about verb tenses and support for George in American politics, confusing the officer. The officer then tells Urbanus that he was driving 48 km/h in a 50 km/h zone, but Urbanus brushes it off and tells him "nicks te maar" (no worries). The officer gets angry and threatens him with a ticket, but Urbanus just drives away, making fun of the police officers with jokes about their helmets and "vlammende salami" (flashing batons).

Net als To be or not to be van Mel Brooks... Beide nummers zijn geniaal! Ik had destijds allemaal scratch platen (o.a.
