Block B is a 7-member South Korean hip-hop group that was created by 조PD, previously under the label Stardom Entertainment. Block B filed a lawsuit against the label in January 2013, which they lost. An agreement was reached nevertheless. They left Stardom Entertainment and came back in September 2013 under the label Seven Seasons.

Their first single album "Do U Wanna B?", along with the title's track MV '그대로 멈춰라!' (Freeze), were released on April 14th, 2011. Previously known in the underground hip-hop scene by Blockbuster (블록버스터), the group had several changes until their current formation: Zico (leader, group's producer and rapper), Jaehyo/안재효 (sub-vocal), B-Bomb (main dancer and sub-vocal), Taeil/이태일 (main vocal), Park Kyung/박경 (rapper), U-Kwon (dancer and lead vocal) and P.O (rapper).

The members were trained by Cho PD to work on writing and composing about 100 songs over the course of their training period. Training them to become a singer-songwriters, he hoped to expand their experience and competence level, as well as promote "expert ease".

In 2018, leader Zico did not resign with Seven Seasons, leaving to start an independent music label, KOZ Entertainment. The remaining six members resigned.

In the statement released by Seven Seasons, discussions are still being made about how the group can continue with all seven members. In the meantime, the group will be focusing on sub-units and solo activities as compulsory military enlistment approaches for the members. The members have also mentioned in their solo schedules that the Block B will continue as seven.

블락비의 음악적 스펙트럼이 상당히 넓다는 것을 보여주는 곡이라고 생각이 든다.
이 곡에서 가장 주목해야 할 점은 가사이다. 개인적으로는 가사 하나하나 버릴 구절이 없다고 생각이 든다.
지코와 박경이 가사를 엄청 잘 쓴 다는 것을 확인 할 수 있는 곡이다.
가사는 전부 한글로만 구성되어 있다.그렇기 때문에 더 잘 들리고 가사에 집중하게 된다. 또한 곡이 더 아름다워 보인다. 가사에서 헤어진 후에 대한 상황 표현력이 대단하다고 생각이 들었다.
듣다가 보면 상황이 그려지는 비주얼라이징이 된다.

개인적으로 마음에 들었던 부분은
"흔히들 이런 걸 자유나 해방이라 해 틀렸어 구속은 이별한 후에 시작돼"
→이별 후 자유를 얻어 행복할 줄 알 았지만 이별 후 가지는 외로움과 공허함들이 몰려와 오히려 그러한 감정들이 나를 힘들게 하여 구속받는 느낌을 받는다.
이별한 후 남게되는 감정에 대해 정말 적절하게 잘 표현한 구절이라고 생각한다.

이렇게 음악을 잘하는 그룹인데 다시 돌아올 수 있을까?
학창시절 정말 좋아했던 그룹이였다. 나의 학창시절 추억이 되준 블락비가 고맙다.

I don't understand my extreme attraction to men who have raspy, deep, or like... rough singing voices (Talkin bout PO or June from iKON). Like I also absolutely adore and respect Taeil's vocals and think it's such an integral part of a song, but like when guys come in with their rough ass vocals/raps with hard-hitting lyrics... it just hits my feels differently and it just conveys emotions deeper to me. Like damn PO. Damn.
