Im ersten Brief stand: „Komm' doch bald wieder her“
Junge, komm' bald wieder, bald wieder nach Haus'
Junge, fahr' nie wieder, nie wieder hinaus
Ich mach' mir Sorgen, Sorgen um dich
Denk' auch an morgen, denk' auch an mich
Junge, komm' bald wieder, bald wieder nach Haus'
Junge, fahr' nie wieder, nie wieder hinaus
The song "Junge, komm bald wieder" by Freddy Quinn is about a mother's love and concern for her son who is a sailor. She knows the dangers a sailor faces in his line of work, and she wants him to come back home as soon as possible. The lyrics are a plea to the son to return home and never leave again. The mother expresses how worried she is about her son, and it is evident in the repetition of the line "Ich mach' mir Sorgen, Sorgen um dich" (I'm worried about you).
The song also captures the sentiment of every mother's fear of losing her child, especially when they are going out to sea, which is a vast and unpredictable place. The mother's love for her son is so strong that it transcends distance, as she always reminds him to remember her and think about home even when he is far away. The song is touching and emotional, and it speaks to the universal human experience of love, fear, and longing.
Overall, "Junge, komm bald wieder" is a moving and sentimental song that expresses a mother's love and concern for her sailor son. It reminds us of the importance of family, home, and the people who care for us.
