The lyrics to Melina Aslanidou's song "Hronia San Vrohi" convey a sense of frustration and longing towards a person who seems to bring nothing but pain and disappointment. The first verse tells the person to stop misunderstandings and explanations, as they have been told many times before. The singer urges them not to seek further explanations or ask for references. It is clear that the singer wants to move on and not dwell on the negative aspects of their relationship.
The chorus compares the years spent with this person to rain in an empty life. It begs the person not to further poison the singer's soul and heart. The image of orphaned years in the same neighborhood emphasizes the feeling of loneliness and abandonment that the singer has experienced. The singer pleads with the person not to further intoxicate their heart.
The second verse describes the person's sorrow as a knife and their love as fragile as glass. The lyrics hint at the possibility that one day, at a certain moment, this person will imprison the singer emotionally. It implies that the relationship has been toxic and has caused the singer pain and restriction.
Overall, the song expresses the desire for freedom from a toxic relationship, asking the person to stop causing harm and pain. It conveys a sense of longing for a life free from the negative influence of this person.
