Melina Aslanidou Lyrics

The song "Omos Den Xero" by Melina Aslanidou is a beautiful and poetic expression of love and its unpredictable nature. The singer begins by admitting that she doesn't know how much she loves the person she is addressing. Love, she says, has no measure, it is higher than the sun and cannot be grasped by the eye. This emphasizes the intangible and limitless nature of love.
The lyrics then describe love as a spark that ignites a fire and a tiny droplet that becomes an ocean. This imagery portrays the transformative power of love, how something small and insignificant can grow into something intense and overwhelming.
The singer continues by saying that the love that binds them will not experience pain. They are like two drops from the same source, two souls intertwined in a deep connection. This suggests a sense of unity and shared destiny, as they come from the same origin and share the same essence.
The repetition of the verses emphasizes the theme of love's progression and its ability to create something vast and powerful. The imagery of fire and water, spark and ocean, adds depth and richness to the lyrics, making them both evocative and thought-provoking.
