Manche gehen Moschee beten, andere gehen kneten

The lyrics to Omar's song "VILLA" depict the harsh realities of life in the streets and the pursuit of success and wealth through illegal means. The lyrics highlight the singer's determination to make it out of his current environment and achieve a luxurious lifestyle in a villa.
The opening lines emphasize the importance of not wasting time and hustling for a living. The singer assures that he can provide high-quality products to his customers. He expresses indifference towards one's beliefs or love interests as long as they have the money to pay for his services. When times get tough, the singer reveals his secret stash of money to ensure his own satisfaction. Despite the presence of imprisoned friends, he continues to serve his customers, hoping to avoid detection by the police.
The chorus reflects the tough upbringing and volatile atmosphere in the singer's neighborhood. He describes a place where everyone is trying to exploit each other, with the constant threat of violence, symbolized by the mention of someone possessing a firearm.
The second verse delves into the personal struggles of the singer. He talks about starting from a modest position, building himself up, and overcoming obstacles until his plan succeeds. The police may suspect him, but he maintains his innocence and welcomes them to search in vain. The singer advises keeping distance from certain individuals in the neighborhood, as some attend mosque while others engage in criminal activities. He alludes to his involvement in drug dealing, using machetes to cut and divide his products. He emphasizes the need for discretion, with his phone constantly active but with limited conversation.
Overall, the lyrics of "VILLA" provide a gritty portrayal of a harsh reality, where people are driven by their desires for wealth, survival, and power in a dangerous environment. The singer aspires to leave this life behind and move to a luxurious villa, using his street smarts and determination.
