She released her debut album titled Ördögi Angyal (literal translation: Diabolical Angel) under the name Rúzsa Magdi. With the title she wanted to express her ambiguity: the diabolic Magdi sings the fast-paced rock tracks while her angelic self shines through the more emotional lyrical songs. The album features tracks composed by the most acknowledged contemporary Hungarian songwriters. Ördögi Angyal was one of the most anticipated albums of winter 2006.
Rúzsa Magdi won the Best New Artist award at the Fonogram Hungarian Music Awards in February 2007 by televoting. The award also granted her a ticket to Helsinki, to compete for Hungary in the Eurovision Song Contest. She will sing Unsubstantial Blues, an English translation of her first single from the Ördögi Angyal album.

Mit nem hallgat már senki se'
Lettem, értsd meg,
Nekem most
Néma lett szavad.
Itt lent, a zongora alatt
Várom végre,
Hogy jön egy ördög majd a mennyből
Talán majd angyalt küld a pokol
Hogy igen' Minden vesszen egyből!
Amit a szív a szemétbe szór.
De nem lesz mindig az,
Bármit is akarsz!
Csak, amit a lélek eléd tehet
Nem megy minden úgy csak
elkísér az út
A sors a neved
Mint egy eldobott virág,
Mit sok száz láb tapos ma már.
Lettem, értsd meg
Nekem most
Semmi nem szabad.
Hát mosoly tépi arcomat,
S várom végre,
Hogy jön egy ördög majd a mennyből
Talán majd angyalt küld a pokol
Hogy igen! Minden vesszen egyből!
Amit a szív a szemétbe szór.
De nem lesz mindig az,
Bármit is akarsz!
...
Hát semmibe lépsz, vagy
A szívedbe marsz?
Játszani kell még, ha bele is halsz.
The lyrics of Rúzsa Magdi's song "A Sors A Neved" depict a sense of abandonment and longing for something meaningful in life. The opening lines compare the song to a cheap film soundtrack that no one listens to anymore, reflecting a feeling of insignificance and being overlooked. The repetition of the phrase "neved" (your name) throughout the song suggests a search for identity and purpose.
The singer expresses a desire for someone to understand her silence and waits impatiently beneath the piano for some kind of revelation. She hopes that an angel sent from hell by the devil would come and bring destruction, as she feels that everything her heart desires is simply thrown away. Despite this melancholic tone, there is also a recognition that things won't always be this way, and that the soul can guide one towards a better future. The line "Csak, amit a lélek eléd tehet" (Only what the soul can put in front of you) suggests that there is still hope for a brighter tomorrow.
The second verse continues the theme of feeling discarded, comparing the singer to a trampled flower. She yearns for something to set her free, but the smile that tears her face implies a sense of forced happiness. Again, she waits for an unexpected visit from an angel from hell to bring destruction upon everything, as she feels that her heart's desires are being wasted.
The final lines of the song pose a question - whether one should step into nothingness or march into their own heart. It suggests that even in the face of death, one must continue to play the game of life.
Overall, "A Sors A Neved" portrays feelings of insignificance, longing for purpose, and a search for meaning.
