1) ザ・ブーム (The Boom) is a Japanese rock band. Its members are Miyazawa Kazufumi (vocals), Kobayashi Takashi (guitar), Yamakawa Hiromasa (bass guitar), and Tochigi Takao (drums).
Vocalist Miyazawa Kazufumi who is the composer and lyricist for The Boom was inspired by the music of Okinawa. A single CD Shima-uta was released in 1993 with high sales, which reached approximately 1.5 million and brought fame to the band, around the world as well as at home. On December 31st 1993, The Boom participated in Kōhaku Uta Gassen, an exclusive show usually reserved for elite musicians.
After they released Shima-uta, the group went on to perform Kaze-ni Naritai, Kaero-kana, and Tsukisaemo-nemuruyoru, but Kazufumi wanted to write more Okinawa songs, so an album comprised purely of Okinawa songs was released.
Miyazawa Kazufumi released several solo albums, and composed songs for other musicians, including Akiko Yano, Kyoko Koizumi, and Rimi Natsukawa. Many people are under the misconception that Miyazawa Kazufumi's hometown is Okinawa, but this is not the case.
In April 2007, Um, the first album by Miyazawa's new band Ganga Zumba, was released. A short tour in Japan by the core members of this group (Miyazawa/Takano/Tatsu/Suzano/Vachet) was planned for August/September.
2) The Boom is an american rock band from Washington, DC with jazzy sound. The revolving line-up includes Fred T. Erskine (also Hoover, Abilene, June of 44, The Crownhate Ruin), Joe McRedmond (Hoover, The Crownhate Ruin), Booker T. Sessoms, Carlo Cennamo, Josh Larue, J. Carrier, Christopher Farrall and Stuart Fletcher. They recorded and released 2 albums: Movin' Out (1998) and Any Day of the Night (1999). A third album with a different lineup was recorded but never released.
幸せであるように
The Boom Lyrics

The Boom's song "幸せであるように" (Shiawase de Aru You ni) speaks about the hardships of life and how we should endure them with hope and the power to forgive others. The first stanza describes the rough seas of the heart, advising not to set sail during these storms. It also mentions walking towards the direction of light and how it seems like God is always unkind. The second stanza speaks about withering flowers in the heart and how a single tear can suffice. It also suggests bearing with hardships until the sound of rain can be heard regardless of how many seasons pass.
The chorus then invites someone to come and wipe their tears and walk together towards happiness. It encourages people to be happy despite their differences and struggles. The third stanza talks about the chaos of birds in the heart and suggests kissing a loved one during these moments. It points out that forgiving others is what gives us the power to be happy. The final chorus repeats the call to wipe away tears and invites everyone to be happy together.
Overall, the song encourages listeners to be hopeful and persevere during tough times, to forgive others and themselves, and to find happiness in the company of others.
