After having worked with the group of Vigon, Lemons, he created the group King Set in 1966 with his friend and guitarist Alain Goldstein. Two radio successes make known his voice and his talent for the rhythm: an original composition, Apesanteur (Weightlessness), in 1967, and Jezebel in 1968. His solo career began slowly with a 45t at the end of 1968 under the name of Michel Kingset, the following in 1970 under his own name. He has to wait until 1974 to find a large audience with two simultaneous "tubes": Say to me and Super Nana.

on part battu
The lyrics of the song "Le temps passé" by Michel Jonasz convey a reflection on the passing of time and its impact on our lives. The song begins by saying that time has subtly infiltrated into our thoughts and without our knowledge, we have come to believe the misconception that as we distance ourselves from our childhood, our bodies age, our hearts close, and we can never escape decline. It suggests that we feel defeated, believing that there is no other alternative or way out. This feeling of resignation is emphasized by the image of throwing ourselves blindly under the coat of time, implying that we cannot hide from its effects.
The second verse explores the theme of love and how doubts and fears can arise in a relationship. The lyrics express a fear that shadows may grow, hearts may close, and that even our skin may lose its softness. However, the song dismisses these fears as insignificant and no longer relevant. It implies that if we die, it is because of the misconception that by throwing time's coat onto the sacred fire of our passion, we have failed to recognize the significance and impact of the time that has passed.
Overall, "Le temps passé" presents a contemplation on the passage of time and the misconceptions that society imposes on us, leading us to believe that we can never escape its effects. The song suggests that by embracing and acknowledging the presence of time, and not letting it go unnoticed, we can find a different perspective and transcend these limitations.
