Favola
Pierangelo Bertoli Lyrics

(P. A. Bertoli)

Sognai per me un mondo con te,
Un fragile sogno che forse non c'?.
Sperai che tu, nei tuoi occhi blu,
Avessi I pensieri che non trovo pi?.
Amai in te un re che non c'?,
E solo la mente risveglia per me.
Pensai che tu coi tuoi occhi blu
Venissi e non te ne andassi mai pi?.

Cantai perch? Cantassi con me,
E il canto era dolce, cantato da te.
Scherzai perch? Ridessi di me,
E un caldo sorriso sgorgasse da te.
Parlai di te parlando con me,
Al mondo discorso pi? Bello non c'?.
Scoprii che tu coi tuoi occhi blu
Parevi una stella caduta quaggi?.

Infine tu tornasti lass?,
E non ho pi? Visto quei tuoi occhi blu.
Rimase a me un mucchio di "se":
"se avesse", "se fosse", "se disse", "se c'?".
Amai, cantai, pensai e parlai,

E adesso ho soltanto un ricordo oramai.
Scoprii, sognai, scherzai e pregai

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Pierangelo Bertoli's song "Favola" (Fable) describe the singer's dream world with a loved one. The world is fragile, perhaps not even real, yet the singer hopes that the person they love, with their blue eyes, could perceive their thoughts, which remain elusive. The singer adores an absent king that only their mind resurrects, and they imagine that with the blue-eyed person never leaving them, they would be happy forever. The singer sings with their beloved, creating a beautiful song, tries to make them laugh, and shares a conversation with them that is more enchanting than any other dialogue in the world. The singer discovers that the blue-eyed person, to them, is like a fallen star. Eventually, the blue-eyed person leaves, and the singer is left with only memories of the love, the song, the thoughts, the talk, the dreams, the pleas, that they once shared.

Antonio Piazza

bella analisi di un rapporto logoro.
