New York Mining Disaster 1941
Bee Gees Lyrics

In the event of something happening to me,
There is something I would like you all to see.
It's just a photograph of someone that I knew.

Have you seen my wife, Mr. Jones?
Do you know what it's like on the outside?
Don't go talking too loud, you'll cause a landslide, Mr. Jones.

I keep straining my ears to hear a sound.
Maybe someone is digging underground,
Or have they given up and all gone home to bed,
Thinking those who once existed must be dead.

Have you seen my wife, Mr. Jones?
Do you know what it's like on the outside?
Don't go talking too loud, you'll cause a landslide, Mr. Jones.

In the event of something happening to me,
There is something I would like you all to see.
It's just a photograph of someone that I knew.

Have you seen my wife, Mr. Jones?
Do you know what it's like on the outside?
Don't go talking too loud, you'll cause a landslide, Mr. Jones.

If it wasn't for 'learning the craft', their Disco-ownership probably wouldn't have happened!

When this song was first played on New York City radio stations they would not reveal the name of the group. Some thought it was the Beatles.

@Phantoma3 Sounds plausible, but in order to get that kind of airplay for an anonymous group the DJs must have really liked the song. Check out these two links for the Beatles and the Silke on the song "You've Got to Hide Your Love Away", both released within a month or two of each other. It is easy to see why some thought it might be the Beatles.

@KingPetra , The DJ's who played the song didn't even know who it was. This was a marketing campaign by The Bee Gees manager to get a buzz going around the country to ask, "Who was that, was it The Beatles?"

2idiot2animate XD

Cuz really, they sound like the beatles
