Regiment of Boys) is a three-member Japanese idol group under the talent agency Johnny & Associates. They debuted on December 12, 1985. The group lead an annual musical Playzone from 1986 to 2008 for about 957 performances with a total attendance of over 1.38 million people over the course of 22 years.

Members:
Noriyuki Higashiyama (東山紀之, Higashiyama Noriyuki, born September 30, 1966). He has an official position in Johnny & Associates.
Kazukiyo Nishikori (錦織一清, Nishikiori Kazukiyo, born May 22, 1965). The leader.
Katsuhide Uekusa (植草克秀, Uekusa Katsuhide, born July 24, 1966). Married with two sons, one of whom is in Johnny's Jr.

Overall Meaning

The song is about a couple who sneak away from a party to dance on the beach under the moonlight. The gentle lights of a nearby bistro softly illuminate the beach as two silhouettes sway to the sound of the waves. The girl wears a summer dress that flutters in the breeze, as the boy admires her, they surrender to the romantic atmosphere.

As they enjoy their time together, the boy sings about how the girl has changed him, and how he wishes the moment could last forever. They dance to the rhythms of the rumba, samba, bossa nova, and cha-cha-cha, all the while under the spell of the magical night on the beach.

The song ends with the girl speaking softly and the boy asking her to tell him more about herself. The song is a beautiful depiction of the romance and magic of summertime love.
