Angham, a native from the province of Alexandria, started her career in 1987 under the guidance of her father, Mohammad Ali Suleiman, with the breakaway track "Fil Rokn elBaeed elHady" (In The Far and Calm Corner), although she has been singing before in radio stations and small theaters. Her unstable relationship with her father forced Angham to choose new albums that are supervised and produced by many new composers and lyricists. "Ella Ana" (Except Me) has been the first album without her father's help and it gained instant success around the Middle East.
After the release of "Sidi Wisalak", Angham worked with a new team that changed her classic image and encouraged her to experiment new western music. "Omry Maak" (My Life With You), released in 2003, competed with her 2001 record "Leih Sebtaha" and toppled the latter to become the most selling album in Angham's career. Both albums were produced by Alam elPhan music company. In 2005, Angham released "Bahibbik Wahashteeny" (I Love You and Miss You), which was commercially a failure and caused a lot of tension in Angham's career. After a two years of hard work, Angham came forward to the Pop music scene with her third best-selling album "Kolma N'arrab" (Whenever We Grow Closer) in which, till nowadays, continues to express lot of popularity, especially the title track, "Mabatallamesh" (I'll Never Learn) and "Hatmannalo elKheir" (Wishing Him All the Best).
Angham is also known to be best friends with Syrian artist, Asala, and socialite, Samah Anwar.

In "Theb Atghayar" by Angham, the singer expresses her struggle with the desire to change in the eyes of her loved one. The lyrics reflect her uncertainty about how this change will affect her relationship and whether it will be for better or worse.
She starts by acknowledging that her appearance is not attractive in the eyes of her loved one, and they want her to change. There is a strange feeling between them, and they want her to change. Despite her willingness to change and her attempts at doing so, she still feels unsure about the outcome. She wonders if changing herself will actually make a difference or if it will only lead to more disappointment and distance between them. Despite all this confusion, she remains uncertain about what the future will hold and whether her loved one will still be there for her.
In these lyrics, Angham portrays the internal struggle of wanting to please someone and make them happy, but also questioning the authenticity of that happiness if she has to change who she is. It highlights the complexities and insecurities that can arise in relationships when one person desires change from the other.
