Asha Bhosle Lyrics

Overall Meaning

The song "Jaane Do Mujhe" by Asha Bhosle is a beautiful and heartfelt plea for the freedom to move on from past hurts and pain. The lyrics express a desire to release oneself from the burden of past disappointments and betrayals, and to embrace the present moment with joy and positivity. The singer acknowledges that there may be some residual pain and sadness, but ultimately she is ready to let go and move forward.

The song's lyrics also touch on the themes of loneliness and isolation, suggesting that these emotions may be necessary preconditions for meaningful self-reflection and growth. The verses describe a world where every face carries a hidden story, and where deep scars and wounds linger beneath the surface. Despite this, the singer remains committed to her path of healing and acceptance, and calls out for the strength and courage to face whatever challenges may come her way.

Overall, "Jaane Do Mujhe" is a powerful and emotional song that speaks to the universal human experience of suffering, resilience, and the search for meaning and purpose in life.

.....and the foolish world says she is 2nd to her sister. I say she is better anytime! wider canvas, with every colour in her throat. ashaji 's singing has intuitive expession !!!

@MusicIsDivine

She is the best ... The most versatile singer india had ever other than kishore kumar in male category but in female she rocked

@bbsarkar7133

Don’t compare pl...both of them are excellent..we can’t compare

@kuntalchakraborty217

@MusicSdivine You can't compare the beauty of Sunrise from the Sunset time. Just enjoy these masterpieces n refrain from comparing the legends .

@vanhar1

@Kuntal Chakraborty Well said! No comparison. Both sisters are equally talented and equally sweet. Some of Asha's best songs have been composed by pancham (of course!) and the great Jaidev. One of my favorite Asha songs - "mor papiha bole" - is by LP. And who can forget SD's "ab ki baras bhejo"?

@b.chatterjee

I acknowledge your recognition. Truly Asha Ji is the best and all time greatest singer in India particular and my most beloved and favourite singer indeed. No one is comparable to Asha Ji. She is queen of melody.
